“After been recommended by a friend I contacted Cooper Westgate, from the initial meeting I knew that I was in good hands, I had an idea of what I wanted but was struggling to bring it together, together we went through what I was looking for and from that point on, I have to say I have never been so excited about a house. Cooper and Westgate handled the entire project so professionally and guided me through what I assumed would be complicated processes, turns out really nothing to worry about, I was particularly impressed by their pro-active attitude. The result I have to say is far in excess of what I ever thought possible”.
This represents a particularly interesting project involving a number of challenging elements that needed to be seamlessly blended together to a tight timetable. Ultimately delivered on time and according to agreed budget, the project in question involved an extensive renovation to a previously derelict cottage along with a large extension to meet modern family requirements
Elements to consider are the request for a full replacement of the existing plumbing, electrical, heating, bathroom and kitchen facilities, complete re-decoration and landscaped gardens, along with the building of a large extension that had to compliment and match as much the original cottage as possible.
Every detail had to be carefully considered and planned, to the extent that roofing tiles for the extension where sourced from re-claimed sources. The interior was specified as 5 star, the careful choice of materials and continued communication with the client ensured we exceeded this specification.
